Reiki Level One Class and Certification

Are you interested in energy healing, or want to tangibly feel and balance the energy of yourself and others? Whether you have no experience in healing, or know that you are a born healer this Reiki Level One class will help you develop and increase your skills and intuition.

Reiki is a method of natural healing that claims no dogma, and is accessible for anyone to learn. Come experience the profound effects of this energy for yourself, and learn healing skills for yourself and others in this one day workshop.

The class will be taught in the Western Usui/Tibetan Reiki system, and will discuss some differences between Japanese and Western Reiki.

Class material will cover:
* The History of Reiki
* The Reiki Principles
* Preparing for a Reiki session
* Reiki Hand Positions and Technique
* The many ways to use Reiki
* We will conclude with the Reiki Attunement and time for practical application and practice.

All students should purchase a copy of Diane Stein's Essential Reiki: A Complete Guide to an Ancient Healing Art prior to class to complete the required reading, which will be assigned after you have RSVP'd. This book can be found used on Amazon for about $5.00. I will teach from sections of this book as well as other texts, but find the required reading in Diane's book to be succinct and to the point. If you are interested in further reading, I will be happy to suggest some additional, but not required titles.
